The Vine Takes Over the Inklands!
Attack of the Vine! is the climactic fourth chapter of the Vine storyline, following Whispers in the Well, Winterspell, and Wilds Unknown. The vine has grown completely out of control, sprouting vineling monsters and leafy duplicates of existing glimmers across the realm. The set marks the confirmed debut of three Pixar franchises featuring Monsters, Inc., Up, and Turning Red with Sulley, Mike Wazowski, and Boo serving as the set's marquee heroes.
207 Ways to Take on the Vine!
The set contains 207 unique cards, making it the first Lorcana set to exceed the standard 204-card count. Confirmed cards include Sulley – The New Boss with Bodyguard and the REHIRE ability (return a card from discard to hand), Boo – Energetic Child with Rush and the Kid-Tastrophe! ability (banish challenged characters with 3 ink or less), and Mike Wazowski – Well-Rounded Entertainer with the Make 'Em Laugh ability granting +1 Lore.
The Vine Has Secrets!
Attack of the Vine! has a deliberate 1950s B-movie horror and sci-fi aesthetic, reflected in the comic-book-inspired title lettering and vivid packaging art. The set kicks off Year 4 of Disney Lorcana and triggers the second-ever Core Constructed rotation, pushing out the four Year 2 sets like Shimmering Skies, Azurite Sea, Archazia's Island, and Reign of Jafar. Booster packs come in 3 different artwork designs, and the Prerelease promo card has 6 randomized variants.
Grab Your Gear, Illumineer!
The Booster Box contains 24 booster packs, with each individual booster pack containing 12 cards with 6 Common, 3 Uncommon, 2 Rare or higher, and 1 Foil of random rarity, available in 3 different artwork designs. The Illumineer's Trove bundles 8 booster packs together with a full-art storage box, card dividers, themed damage dice, and an exclusive spin-dial lore counter making it a great all-in-one collector's package.

The thirteenth expansion set is scheduled to release on July 24, 2026.
Each individual booster pack contains 12 random cards from the expansion. The set itself is an expanded release featuring a total of 207 unique cards, which is a slight increase from the traditional 204-card mainline sets.
Every Attack of the Vine! booster pack is guaranteed to contain a specific breakdown of rarities:
6 Common cards
3 Uncommon cards
2 cards that are either Rare, Super Rare, or Legendary
1 Foil card of a random rarity level (which can include the ultra-rare Enchanted cards).
Attack of the Vine! features the high-profile debut of characters from Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.. Key character glimmers confirmed for this set include:
Sulley - The New Boss
Mike Wazowski - Well-Rounded Entertainer
Boo - Energetic Child. The set also introduces characters from Turning Red and features thematic elements from Up and Tangled within the set's key artwork.
This expansion introduces the Underdog keyword mechanic. Designed to mitigate the advantage of playing first, the Underdog ability allows a character to be played for one less ink if it is your first turn and you are playing on the draw (the second player). One card in each of the six ink colors features this new keyword.
Yes. In addition to the standard rarity tiers, collectors can hunt for Iconic and Epic cards, which were introduced to the game in Year 3. Iconic cards are the rarest standard tier and feature alternate artwork, a specialized Lore Star Foil, and a 3D hot stamp effect.
The launch of Attack of the Vine! marks the beginning of the Year 4 rotation. Upon its release, four earlier sets from Year 2 are rotated out of Core Constructed play:
Shimmering Skies (Set 5)
Azurite Sea (Set 6)
Archazia's Island (Set 7)
Reign of Jafar (Set 8). All cards in the Attack of the Vine! booster packs are legal for official Year 4 competitive tournaments.
The storyline follows a magical, dark thorny vine that has begun to overrun the Great Illuminary, sprouting "vineling monsters" and leafy duplicates of well-known Disney characters. The Illumineers must team up with the monsters of Monstropolis to stop the spread of this invasive threat.
